The book will keep you engaged!! Let me first say that I am not a history buff, but this book was fantastic!! The first story is about a boy learning about the life of his grandfather in the Navy and what he experienced on the day his ship was attacked. The detail the author provides really makes you feel like you’re there! Lots of suspense, especially with the ghost!
The second story in the book provides the true stories about some of the brave men on the Miss. and the horrors they saw from the attack on their ship. I really appreciate all the sacrifices our military makes for us, past and present. I’d recommend this book for jr high and high school aged students, adults too!!
