Looking for a good ghost story? Then, “Tunnel of Bones” by Victoria Schwab is the book for you (as long as you’ve read “City of Ghosts” first, IMHO). Victoria Schwab does a great job of telling this ghost story that takes place in Paris, primarily deep within the catacombs under the streets of Paris. The creepy, Un, Deux, Trois, . . . of the poltergeist will get your blood running a bit faster.
Cassidy Blake, with her amazing abilities and her best friend, ghost Jacob take on a host of spectral beings in this well thought out story. Cassidy’s ability to pierce the veil and enter into the ghosts’ past lives is well described. Her ghost “sleuthing” to help the ghosts move on is something that all young readers won’t want to miss a second of.
Thank you, Victoria, for giving those of us who work in libraries some more interesting and captivating stories to recommend for our young readers.
