Jacqueline Vick has written another in her Pet Psychic Mystery series and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. “An Almost Purrfect Murder,” will keep you reading until the very end when all is revealed. It’s a delightfully well thought out story. The witty protagonist and her friends become our friends too. It’s also refreshing to read a story that I can recommend to my family and friends, not concerned about inappropriate behavior (though there are several romantic moments) or language. It’s kind of a step back to older detective stories that were good because of their clever writing.
If you’re looking for a mystery series to read, this is a good one to choose. I’ll be starting the next in the series as soon as possible.
