Review

Traitor’s Chase (book 2 in The Last Musketeer series) is another good MG adventure story by Stuart Gibbs. In this second book of the series, Greg Rich, who traveled back into the Paris of 1615, finds himself and the other three musketeers (Athos, Porthos, and Aramis) on an adventure to save all of Paris.
The story explores the new relationship of these young musketeers as they together meet one adversity after another. It’s truly a “how are they going to get out of this” type of story. Plus, the reader will undoubtedly feel they’ve gone back in time to France along with the protagonist.
Anyone who likes the Ranger’s Apprentice series by John Flanagan would be sure to like this series as well. Good job. And, more brain candy for those avid readers who like a good, quick read into adventure.
