Reader's Review:

A delightful mystery novel about a young woman who inherits her grandparents’ bookstore in a small town on the Northern California coast. The young woman re-opens the book store to the delight of the town and particularly the friends of her grandparents. The problems start (we knew there’d be problems) when a mysterious woman comes snooping around the bookstore only to add more questions than answers about what happened to the protagonist’s grandparents. If you like the common “friendly, but ultra talented chef/owner of the main restaurant in town”, like I do, you’ll love this character in the book. The best description I could give this story is the tried and true, cozy mystery novel. They’ve even got a bookstore cat. It’s definitely a bookstore I’d like to find.I think most readers will enjoy the book. I’m giving the book 4-stars and not 5 only because I think the author shouldn’t have used the epilogue in her ending of the story, but rather encorporate it into the last chapter.
